thanks Wardf very much send me a picture of your 70 maverick did your car come with factory 13' wheels Thanks Ivy
Ivy I can't really say if it will get you a tenth because I never had one because I never had a drag car yet. If I was to say so I would say it would from reading all my car mags over the years and learning about what they do. Here in Ohio, Summit Racing Equipment is big and I found the 2 things that you want to look at. Go to www.summitracing.com and on the left of the home page screen you can type in summit part numbers FLX-4136. This is not one of the things that I was talking about but it might be worth looking at. Also type in MOR-65125 and this is what I was talking about. I say if you use this and get another tenth you would have some lee-way to play with.
thanks willie that,s good info i think i will try the cool -can it will help when the texas heat comes the temp here is at 50 to70 with sunshine the cars run their best in weather like we have with very little humidity going to houston raceway sat to run temp will be cool around 50 nice day for test&tune thanks Ivy wish yall could come
Lower temperatures Our winters are probably the best season for the dragracer! Summer is just to darn hot here! Now that's an idea: An indoor air conditioned dragstrip for year-round racing! Do I have any investors? lol (Just hope they have a good exhaust fan, huh).
O.K. guys go ahead and rub it in. As I read this it is 0 degrees and -17degrees with the wind chill here in Lima,OH.
OK.... Hows this: An indoor air conditioned AND HEATED dragstrip for year-round racing! (It is 31 degrees this morning)
love that cool air i feed it to my 302 sure likes it she will run good sat at baytown 55-60 degrees ( ram air box )
what size is the radiator you're using? I've been contemplating doing something like that on the bracket mav, but couldnt find anything that would work
