I got a magazine the other day that offer magnetic strips to put over the lower 1/4's of the car to keep them clean.
I have already thought of that. I believe Office Depot sells the stuff in sheets. Then wrap the leading edge with duct tape so wind dosent lift it off the car.
Pretty sure I saw that stuff in the latest Eastwood Catalog. It is even paintable to match your car so you do not notice it. It is intended for driving your show car on the road but I'm sure it would work great for drag racing as well ...
Me and Dennis must have bad luck,,, I got home and put the corner of the trailer into the wall of my garage. Tore trailer and garage up... even had to call a wrecker to yank the trailer from the garage. Oh well,, the garage will be fixed by insurance. I can fix the trailer myself cause it's just plain ole bodywork. Dan
Dan, thanks for posting those pics, it was like being there without being there! Who belongs to the black 4-door with the styled-aluminum wheels? That is one good looking car. Sam
Thanks for the pictures Dan. Makes me want to really make the trip. But, that is a lot of miles. My work will only give me one week vacation at a time. I would need at least 2 weeks to do the event...Maybe someday...after I retire again...
