capt comet-- thanks for the complete info. i was to short in the explanation in my first posting. sorry for the confusion. that black one is awesome. at a quick glance it resembles the european sports cars ( ferrari, lambo) i agree with mavowar about the longer wheelbase launches. i must be getting old since i perfer the "slower" launch to the more wicked ones. i mainly built mine to be a sleeper and surprise people but as usual things got out of hand and turned out a little different. it is nice being 1 of just a few people in the country crazy enough to restomod a car that will probably never be a sound inverstment. lets be real, 4 doors DO NOT bring the same money as 2 doors in any model. just a fact of car life.that being said i did not build it to resell, i built it the way i wanted it and have alot of memories of building it with my youngest daughter. one day it will pass to her and she can tell her kids the stories about building it. thanks for the nice words. maybe one day you can make a mini meet and see it in person.
don't you have something coming up this fall? i seem to remember you posting about something. was i dreaming?
Personally, I don't normally care for 4 door ANYTHINGS....not just mavericks and comets. BUT there are some really sweet cars out there.....I don't know whose car this is, but I like it!
Jason, yes I am planning something during Cruising The Coast. I'm trying to figure out which day I can set it up since the club I'm in is helping with the weeklong event. The tentative date will be Saturday, Oct 6th. I should know in the next week or so and then I'll start advertising it. Hope you can make it.
