It starts! But won't stay running

    RIGHT!! The rotor turns counter clockwise. Therefore, clockwise would advance the spark. I HATE it when my memory is crossed up.:mad::oops: Sorry.

    Sweet!!!! The problem was that I was scared lol. Runs great, idles great! Starts right away on the first turn of the key! The distributor had to be advanced as far as it would go to stay running. I didn't think it was supposed to be turned the whole way.. so I never got it right. Thanks guys!!
    Baddad - unfortunately I have no mark or timing pointer :( But your way sounds pretty cool and I'd like to try it!
