yes i do, i live 30 min north of bg working on a maverick? it will be easy, like a cam swap, hahaha can get you a c4 for 75 bucks. motor? no problem.
If I were you and had a little money to buy or build an engine for MY 72 Maverick, I would look around and find a 5.0 H.O. with under 100k on it for around $300-$400. Refresh it with new timing kit, bearings, oil pump and gaskets. Put the cam of my choice in it with the springs and retainers matching up. Intake and carb or EFI swap and run the heck out of it. Seems most times I have seen or heard of people doing a lot of swapping engine internal parts around they have ended up with balance or miss-match of parts problems. Good luck either way. Can't wait until I can start on my 72. Heck I can't afford to swap the title much less the engine. lol clint
well hopefully this will be a $200-$300 build. Talked to a machine shop and they said 40 bucks to transfer pistons, now i just need to find that 1 piston ring im missing!
Well if you need a spare, I have a couple extra sets (or at least one set) that I ended up buying to replace a broken ring.
