looked at a 1973 Maverick today

    maybe $800 there is probaly a lot of rust hiding in it.

    The mileage is most likely correct, In Michigan if this car had 155,000 there wouldn't be enough of it left to even use as a parts car.

    Deals may still be out there in the south, and out west. But in Michigan a car with limited rust is hard to find for a reasonable price.

    The car is complete. I would fix what needs to be fixed to make it a driver for now, for the wife. then maby she will not drive mine so much.

    I thinking about offering $1500, thats after I check the cowl for leaks.

    I found a 1977 comet to use as a parts car. It has power disc brakes and power steering. also has a very nice interior to bad its green.

    Ohhhh dont i know, I used to live in Lake Orion for a little over 2 years. We drove up there with a 78 trans am in mint condition. After 2 years of salt, the quarters were non existent....:mad:

    We once got lost in Pontiac, MI. in it at 3am, and an officer led us out, said we were in the wrong part of town with a car they never get to see in this condition. lol... scary though.
