Wow - thanks for posting this. Now I REALLY want to see more pictures. I looked at the pictures again and you can see a pan (or something) hanging. This looks more and more like a FWD. I can also see the hood differences now.
Well the Lexus and the Supra those engines came in were both RWD, so it might not be FWD, but that just makes it even more interesting that it has 4-lug front discs. And the different wheels may be because of a different lug pattern on the front and rear?
Those taillights look like 1973 Mustang units with one lense replaced. Interesting details on this car. I want to see more pics too.
I think they are the 73 lenses. Looks like the driver side inner lense may have been broken at one point and repaired. - Matt
Welcome to the board. If you know the VIN# of the car. The first number is usually the year of the car.
Honda ,Toyota ,possible Lexus? a couple things about this car is interesting but way to much crossbreeding for my taste (but any crossbreeding with a FORD is to much!)
I know Ford has been doing this with probs, escourts and such. i'm talkin old school like mavericks as i recall others get on to pepole who talk about putting a Chevy engine in a Mav. Just givin my opinion!
the car is in Thailand i'm pretty sure they don't have many fords there to swap in a good old SBF....so they would use what they have. but i get your point
I think it's awesome. The brilliance and ingenuity it took to keep that car on the road all this time, on the other side of the world where the parts simply don't exist... Absolutely astounding. I think very few people here could have pulled that off.
