Well Frank, I hope you're not actually expecting to get that engine started without a damn clue. Not to worry though. You can find damn clues used, and in good shape, on Ebay sometimes. Keep away from any NOS damn clues. They're usually priced out of sight. I found one at NAPA under the part number OU812 that is close to a stock Maverick damn clue and it will work with a little modification.

    Glad to help :Handshake

frank, honestly, you should invest in a light bulb repair kit,and if that does not work, tie it all up with 50 feet of fallopian tubing . also, a bucket of blue steam might jus help to clear the air

Maybe do a compression test. Might have some bad valves or something...

thought you said that you had spark. ok if you dont have spark then your close to finding the problem. sence you have power to the coil, take the coil wire off the distrubor end and lay it over some place where you can see the spark jump. now put take the neg wire off off the coil and put a wire on it with one end striped that you can touch to a ground. now turn on the ignition, and you should be able to tap the ground wire to ground and lift it and get spark. if it sparks your coil is good if not then you need a coil.
