oil pressure line install

Blu, that sounds just about how it is...Way too many wires and tubes running all around on my car (see new thread I started regarding ugly wires...)

 

yeah i just bought the 36 inch braided AN line and mine is about 6 inchs short but my gauge is on the cowl

i just got the 48 inch

 

So get a 60" hose.

 

Even then, my gauge has the compression fitting for the brass or plastic line, so I still had to put in a small chunk of brass with a fitting to up it to the AN connection.

 

1. Ok. Problem?
OR
2. Change the gauge.

 

I will be changing all the gauges when (If I ever) build a new dash. I want all the gauges right behind the steering wheel, in a dash cluster. Not all over the glove box, radio hole, on the hood, etc.

When I do that, I will probably reinvent my wheel and go to whatever setup I can that will minimize wiring and tubing...somehow. I have a long time to think about that.

 

Someones been watching "speed racer"...
