    My stocker than stock 2bbl worn out '72 Comet ran 10.15 in the 1/8,a 6 spd f-body with a good driver and bolt ons is about a high 7- mid 8 sec car at best.If he's really gonna have 400+ hp he should run mid 7's(low 12's 1/4).You should be able to take him with about 350 hp-you're lighter & easier to launch than a stick.Everything mentioned here should cost around $1,100 or less if you shop around.150 shot on my old 4dr dropped nearly 2 seconds in a 1/4-14.33/12.40 on juice.Have fun.

    if your wanting 400hp. i'd think about losing the 351 heads. todays aftermarket heads are so much better and the aluminum heads are lighter. remember the less weight that you have, the less hp you need to go faster. :)
