    Ain't she purdy!

JEGS once again astonishes me with their prompt shipping. Got this just now, ordered it Tuesday night. Less than 48 hours from order to "got it"!

Spoiled!!! You cars are spoiled!! If I order something from Summit (in Ohio) it can take upto 4 days, and cost me $60 extra.

I paid standard cheap shipping, too. No upgrades. Just the $10 "handling charge".

I think I was confused because another one of my friends has a Marshall that has a built in D.I. and I must have just assumed that this was the same thing. Alas, not all 25W ****kicker amps are bred like 900 Marshall amps.

Willwood uses a Chrysler style design and the pushrod does not lock into the master's bore. You will need to fabricate some kind of stop and bolt it to the support to keep the brake pedal from coming up too high and dislodging the push rod from the master cylinder. Use an after market adjustable pushrod and don't be suprised if you have to add more threads and cut the length to make it shorter.

So that is why Dave used a longer rod? Just to keep it from popping out when the pedal comes up?

I will have to ask him which sized rod he used.

If the rod is too long...it will keep pressure on the master cylinder and you be running around like you have your foot riding the brakes all the time. The rod length is important to be correct length

I used the stock rod. I tried a few different ones (Mustang) but they seemed to long (they held the pedal too high). The MC also came with a spacer, I'll look and see if I used it. If I remember right, I'm pretty sure the rod locked in place.
I have checked the wheels, and none of the brakes drag, everything works good, much better than any of the stock masters I've used in the past, and I'm using DOT 5.
Here, I cut this out of their install manual:

That spacer is about an inch and a half long. I doubt you used it.

I just finished mowing the yard and getting up 3 bags full of leaves, and it is almost 3pm, getting dark around 5-5:30, so I am done for the day.

I may get to the brakes tomorrow first thing, if the wife doesn't need to go back into town and spend more money on our neices and nephew for Christmas. Or herself.
