power steering issue

    the difference is...one is tapered from the top...the other one tapered from the bottom...they are shaped the same...:tiphat:

    cool i PM you comet 73 but i could use either one of his with my tie rods even if one is from the top or the bottom????

    i am refering to the...pitman arms...:oops:

    i used my '73...tie rod ends and idler arm...:yup:

    ok i see that the pit arms are like that but which one do i need to use? or can i use both

    yea i know there is only one. but what im asking is can i use either one of them? like the one that tapered from the top and the one the tapered from the top? or can i only use one of them on my 72 since the other wouldnt work?

    you will have to use the one with the correct taper for the manual drag link...(taper from top)

    cool thanks yes im just going to go full manual ill keep the parts just in case one day i want to go back but ill safe some weight, open up the engine bay alittle with out the pump and get some horse power back too
