i measured for the holes and when i went to drill i noticed that the factory had placed some dimples in the floor board right where i was set to drill. so i guess they knew that i was a knucklehead and would need all the help i could get. God bless ford.

I don't think that my 72's floor was marked in any way ... maybe that was a later-model thing. (y)

mine was marked with dimples, but the tracks were too long... so all new measurements on the trans tunnel sides.
edit: the tracks are from a mustang, that's why they're too long. mav tracks should fit the dimples. as far as I know thats the only reason they were put there. I'm sure ford didn't use separate floor pans for bench and bucket seat cars. Especially the Maverick.
