Ok got it, damn wish I would have had a contest to see who would be right on guessing the problem, it was the...............drum roll.....................................................................................................................................................................CARB!!!! congrats goes out to all that said carb problem!! if you said carb....let me know here with you're post number in this thread so I can look it up, and I will be getting in touch with you to hook you up with something.
Yep I saw where you said carb, it has pretty much rained here for two weeks straight, I, even though I have a shop, still hate to go out and do anything in the rainy weather, plus I did think it was some bent valves :16suspectFrank is trying to get in there on the loot
Ok Frank, I'll give it to ya, you are persistent, not gonna tell ya what it is though, PM me your address and I'll send it out to ya Monday morning, I will tell you there is as of right now only one person in this forum that has one.
I am not even going to mess with that carb, I have another that I stuck on it and it ran as it should then, I am just gonna clean up the "good" carb and run it, it's a 600 Cfm the other one was 750 Cfm, I will take it apart and look to see if I can find the problem later on, after all the switching heads and looking over the valve train it was as simple as switching carbs to get it to run with no backfire...geeze "Maverick Life" I guess!
