If I had M.A.V.'s car I woulden't worry about fuel-pump noise. I love the whine of blower's. My 96 F250 has a slight whine from the factory EFI pump. I personaly think that electric pumps are for racing. But folks do like to do away with the mechanical pump, because of parasitical power loss, & engine compartment cleanliness. Im going with a mechanical pump on my car, for ease of installation, reliability,& Quiteness.
