So far the samples are looking very sweet,,, soon as I can make a decision on a few,, and test them on a car and how well they seal,,,, We should be good to go,,

No cost estimate just yet,, still messing with more samples due to arrive today and Monday,,, I will converse with a few other Maverick people and make sure what we plan on doing is exceptable for the comunity,, Meaning it meets and exceeds OEM specs,, But we plan on making sure the price is low as possible and dont forget,,, allot will depend on the numbers,, any parts get cheaper per unit or set,, when the production numbers go up,, so the diferance is if only 2 are requested,, they would be the most expensive parts on the market,,, if 200 sets are ordered,, well they will be cheap,,, depends on how many actually have sent an E-mail to RPS showing an interest in this part,, once I get all the tooling set up, and I see the first sample parts done,, and they are excepted,, I call RPS,, for the numbers that show interest,,, the company doing the work then tells me price per unit for those numbers,, So if this is a part you need,, we will do our best to get it out at the best price possible,,:Handshake But Please send your E-mails,, Let us know,, Those Numbers are very important,,

Well the samples are looking more and more like what we want,, So I believe we have about 4 more coming in,, then we will make up the quarter window gasket sets and get a cost on materials and Vulcanizing them together,, and also an over all cost for sales,,, We should have the quarter window reproductions wrapped up this week,, I will keep every one posted on the progress,,,:Handshake

    Update,, Rear Quarter window gaskets,,,

OK,,, we have found the material we need for the Quarter window gaskets,, The samples showed an awesome fit,, We are asking the manufacturer to send us a larger piece to make the tooling and pop off a full size sample part,, I do believe we could be seeing these hit the market in the next couple of weeks,,,, if all the quotes are accurate,, these parts could be out on the market for $99.95 for a set of 2. That is new reproduction parts out of the box and onto the car.:thumbs2:,,, These parts will be done in black,,, yes they can be colored to match your interiors.:Handshake

So please send an E-mail to RPS and let us know what the production numbers are going to be. Give us an Idea How many need these parts.

The composite that the boomerangs were made from for the paintable ones was mistakenly used to do the chrome ones and isnt compatible with chroming. Before that there was a problem with the small threaded stub that holds the trim to the top of the quarter. That was re-vamped to the best of my knowledge but the chroming issue?? I dont know if that has been resolved yet.
