Here are pics of the Carb & the blow proof Bellhousing. The carb is a blow through Carb from C & S Specialties & the Bellhousing is from PA (Performance Automatics).
I was wondering if the supercharger was going to clear. C&S has been around for quite a while, they are about 20 miles from me.
Installed Headers Got the Headers, Transmission, Bell Housing & Torque Converter installed. The Hooker 6901's were a breeze to install. After all I have read on here about Header installs I was pleasantly surprised. Passenger side slid right in with no effort. Drivers side we had to raise that side of the motor 4" & remove the valve cover & then it slid right in. Getting closer & closer to firing this thing up. Can't wait.
Ok so I bragged too soon on the Headers. They installed pretty easily.....however I had to remove the drivers side to install the spark plugs. I could not get one single plug in on drivers side untill I removed them. Sucks. Note to self: Install plugs before Headers next time......2nd Note to self: Do not foul plugs under any circumstances..
Late update This past weekend I made a little progress. Installed dizzy, Carb, Fuel Cell & relocated battery to the trunk. Getting closer every weekend.
Update A little progress today. Got the Pro Charger all buttoned up, Alternator installed, new billet drive shaft installed. Pretty much all I lack is plumbing the fuel system & wiring. Can hardly wait to fire it up.
Installed CalTracs, Mono Leafs & CalTracs Drag Shocks. I love the looks of the CalTrac setup. Had a little setback, the Moroso Electric water pump leaks between the head unit & backing plate. Has anyone else had this problem? I sent it back to Moroso.
im doing the same thing just not as big i still have a long way to go looks real sweet im jealous heres a pic of my junk brad
1st start up Finally! The beast comes alive. I have been working on this since March with a good friend named Drew. I was so impressed with how quickly it started on the 1st try. We had the timing unbelievably close. The carb from C & S started up right out of the box. We ran 3" exhaust with X-Pipe & Dynamax Bullits & dumped at the rear axle. Watch the video below. By the way I only have 2 Mav video's on Photo Bucket so all the others are not mine. We will be going for Dyno Tune in about a week. <embed width="600" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullscreen="true" allowNetworking="all" wmode="transparent" src="http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid125.photobucket.com/albums/p43/mikeg747/102_2788.flv">
