Thinking about going back to Mechanical Fuel pump

    That's what I have on mine, same as the old Boss 302 pump. Tried the Edelbrock 6-valve pump, it shot oil out of the top breather holes all over my engine. Contacted Edelbrock and all they did was send me a link to a place I could buy a special $50 mounting gasket that would take care of the problem. :mad: Went back to the Carter.

    No regulators on any of them. All Holley DP carbs.

    I think i'll give the Carter Muscle Car Mechanical pump a try. At $27, 120gph, and 5.5-6.5 psi. It seems to be a perfect match for the carb, and my wallet. Specs are very similar to the Edelbrock pump that goes for $95. only thing is the Carter dosnt have a threaded inlet but I guess that dosnt matter much since its not on the pressure side.
