    pulled the old sender to find the float half full of gas.
    the sender wasn't bad just the float has a crack in it.
    I'm going to drain the float and seal it, then going to put it back in the tank and see if it works.
    to be continued.

    I dipped the float in Rust Bullet for a sealer.
    I submerged the float in gas and it seems to be good. I'll leave it submerged for a few more days to be sure. after about 12 hrs. the R.B. would not rub off.
    I also ordered two plastic floats from, O'riliey's they came in this morning...$7.50 each.
