I just boughtan 500 cfm edelbrock 4 brl for my 302 I bought the adapter 2bbl to 4 bbl and as the car doesn't run need a few answers???? is the dist. vacuum port timed (no vacuum at idel or full (vacuum at idle) my old one didn't work so i don't know how to hook up the new one!!! also the vacuum hose that went to the choke pull off should I just plug that? and last I have an adapter under my old card that has a vacuum hose to it was that for power brakes??(I do have power brakes>>>>>>> I think) any one ever do this before and any thing else i need to know ???
thanks in advance ![]() .................... First, why the 4 barrel to 2 barrel adapter? If I under stand correctly. For dist vac, you want no vaccuum at idle. If the carb has elecrtic choke only then plug vac port. On the other vac line or ?, only you know what you have. You didn't say what year or weather you have power brakes. If you have a large dia. can with a master cylinder on it, then it's power. If you need more help, we need more info on what has been done, is or is not happening etc. |
