The "smallblock" C-6 also comes that way, one piece housing. But it'll fit anything from a 289 to 351W/C engines. The C-4 has the bolt on housing. Which makes it interchangable from 6cyl to 460s, except the FEs. If you use a "Ford" bellhousing.
