Locking 8" Differental - Need some suggestions!

I'm running a 302 V8 (warmed slightly ) and need to get some kind of locking differental on my '76 Two door Maverick. I have an 8" (I think, bolts on the pumpkin are on the front) with 5 lug axles. My axle code indicates a 2.79:1 ratio on the rear Does anyone have a suggestion for a good locking diff that is quite? I'm using this car for street/show so I can't use a spool. How hard are these to install? Any help would be appreciated!
