Hey everybody, I have a question.
I recently found a 72 Gran Torino Sport with a 351 clevland 2bbl. I was just wondering, what would be the size difference between a 351w and a 351c in terms on installing it into my Comet. There is a guy locally who had a built Cleveland in a Mav that he street/drag raced. He recently put the motor in a mustang(i've only known him since it's been in the Mustang, so I never got to see the Mav installation.) I do know that at the local 1/8mile strip he ran a 7.0 on the motor alone. Didn't mean to ramble, but I like the power a Cleveland can make and was just wondering about the size difference. Thanks all Dan. DAN, I HAVE A 1971 MAVERICK WITH A CLEVELAND IN IT. A 1970 4BBL VERSION. THE SWAP IS MUCH EASIER THAN MOST PEOPLE THINK. IT'S MUCH QUICKER IN STOCK FORM THAN ANY WINDSOR WOULD EVER BE. WITH STREET TIRES AND FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM,I RAN A 12.7 ET AT THE STRIP. I JUST BOUGHT SLICKS A 3000 STALL AND HEADERS FROM TUBULAR AUTOMOTIVE. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT IT WILL DO. EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. DAVID |
